Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position is assigned to the Procurement Division (PFP) within the Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD). PPFD’s responsibilities include project-related financial management, consultant recruitment, Executing Agency procurement reviews, project implementation, portfolio management and project performance management. In addition, our teams are involved in several initiatives improving ADB’s performance with respect to procurement planning, project implementation, procurement oversight and capacity development. You will be based at our Kyrgyz Resident Mission Office in Bishkek.
The position will report to a designated International Staff.
Your Role
As an Senior Procurement Officer, you will work closely with other members of the PPFD, Procurement Specialist assigned to the Resident Mission as well as with Procurement Sector Teams in Headquarters and engage proactively with Executing and Implementing agencies (EAs/IAs) of the Borrower, Resident mission and Sector Groups staff, engaged consultants and other stakeholders on all procurement-related aspects of the country portfolio, to facilitate the successful formulation, processing, administration and monitoring of ADB-financed loan, grant, and technical assistance (TA) projects.
