You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar with four years of relevant professional experience; or High School Degree in the above fields with six years of relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow procedures clearly and to work well with colleagues within a team in a multi-cultural environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools and protocols.
- Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
- Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage.
Contract
This is a G-6 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 6 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-6 contracts.

Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Dublin and direct supervision of the Head of Unit, the successful candidate will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation requirements of the project, which supports Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP’s) in Ireland. This role would also be supportive of and contribute to the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) requirements of the Mission.

Education

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Good knowledge of information technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
- Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage.

- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools and protocols.

Responsibilities
- Support the National Project Officer with the continued development and implementation of monitoring framework of existing and future project aiming to support BOTP’s in Ireland.
- Ensure projects SOP’s and project development are in compliance with IOM’s instutional guidelines. Analyse the reporting requirements of the donor to ensure information is being collected accurately.
- Compile, summarize and present the necessary information for the team and for internal and external reports for IOM, donors and other stakeholders.
- Draft status reports to support effective implementation of the project.
- Support the administrative requirements of the project, coordinating closely with the regional teams to maintain the day-to-day activities and operations on the ground in line with the project SOP’s.
- Support the wider Mission with M&E requirements of existing projects and input into project development where required.
- Maintain and ensure confidentiality of all projects related matters in accordance with guidelines and instructions. Take active steps to. mitigate fraud and malfeasance, and to monitor the integrity of records containing individual data.
