Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Senior IT Officer (Product Management) is assigned to the Digital for Development Operations Division (ITOP) within the Information Technology Department (ITD).
ITOP provides digital solutions to support development operations, regional departments, resident missions, sectors and thematic knowledge management and market solution innovation.
As part of ITOP, you will be assigned to the Knowledge, Content, and Records team, which is responsible for delivering and maintaining digital products that manage ADB's knowledge, content, and records. Since 2024, these products have incorporated Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the discovery and organization of ADB's knowledge. Your main focus area will be documents and records management systems.
You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to Director, ITOP and or Designated Technical International Staff and will oversee Junior team members.
Your Role
As Senior IT Officer (Product Management) you will be responsible for ADB’s document and records management systems, which are mostly based on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 (M365). You will work with stakeholders, product managers, and technical team members, including managed service providers, to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of product features. You will maintain the release roadmaps of the IT products, and planning releases based on a prioritized backlog of requirements.
You will oversee the full lifecycle of document and records management systems, from identifying business needs all the way to support and maintenance. You will work with stakeholders, product managers, technical team members, and managed service providers to ensure successful delivery and adoption of product features.

This position is funded by a temporary funding source (e.g., a trust fund, financing facility, or capital expenditure budget) and therefore, the renewal of the appointment and its duration are subject to the availability of the funding source.
This is a fixed term appointment with option to renew for an initial period of two (2) years following Section 3.1 (b) of Administrative Order No. 2.01 (“Recruitment and Appointment’). This appointment is not convertible to a regular appointment. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may be renewed for a period of up to three years, or not renewed. There is no limit on the number of renewals. This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
