The position is assigned to the Digital for Institution Division (ITIN) within ADB's Information Technology Department (ITD). ITD manages the information systems and technology services required for ADB’s operational activities, corporate functions and knowledge exchange in Headquarters and Field Offices. ITIN provides digital solutions by delivering and supporting software application/data/business process management service products. The division works with business stakeholders to ensure the digital solutions portfolio and roadmap meet business needs. In support of delivering these services, this division provides governance of applications for ADB. It also drives information consistency and efficiency of product delivery. Guided by the application governance framework and leveraging these foundational services, the division provides digital solutions to support financial, risk management, corporate, and administration systems.

Job Purpose

The Senior IT Officer (Digital Solutions) will work on new financial system initiatives and maintenance and support activities. Acting as the product lead and/or team lead, s/he will work with business community to develop and update product roadmaps to ensure new systems and enhancements are delivered and issues are resolved. The position will work closely with the Controller’s Department to ensure business requirements are well supported by the right IT solutions. In addition, the position will manage the communication between vendors, ADB team, sponsors, and stakeholders. Incumbent will also manage new projects, and the activities of the maintenance and support team to ensure all risks and issues are addressed in a timely manner. The incumbent will report to Director and/or designated International Staff and may supervise Administrative Staff.

The selected candidate, if new to ADB, is appointed for an initial term of 3 years.
