Job Description

1. Setting up regular monitoring mechanisms for providing of primary health care activities. 2. In collaboration with health provincial manager and community elders, ensuring and maintaining the implementation of providing primary health care services in mobile and fixed health facilities level. 3. Ensures the effective implementation of the Infection Prevention Control (IPC guidelines through its advocacy and strict adherence, including the appropriate use of PPE as and when required. 4. Works independently and seeks support/advice when challenged. 5. Provide technical support to all health staff working in MHT and fixed health facilities, IPC mentor and health promotion assistant through conducting regular training and supportive supervision. 6. Work closely with provincial health Manager to identify and develop refresher trainings for clinical, non-clinical staff. 7. Follows and supervises the daily primary health care activities at health facilities level. 8. Support the health facilities ensure that triage, screening, and isolation procedure at the health facilities are followed 9. Work with health facilities senior management to set up and mentor the IPC committees and IPC focal persons for each of the health facilities IRC will be supporting. 10. Conduct regular monitoring of IPC progress for each of the health facility and take quick action in case the protocols are not followed.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in medical health. Graduated from a recognized medical faculty. 2. 4-6 years of relevant work experience in same position 3. Experience in emergency response, including rapid assessments and needs analysis 4. Experience in hygiene promotion in humanitarian contexts 5. Excellent knowledge of working in BPHS 6. Excellent knowledge to speak and write English. Pashto/Dari 7. Good level of literacy and numeracy of computer skills. 8. Ability to relate to and motivate staff effectively 9. Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources
