You have:
- Master’s degree in Economics, development studies, Business Administration, Public Health, Medicine, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grants and compliance management within international NGOs.
- Proven track record in managing multi-donor portfolios (USAID, EU, ECHO, GAVI, BMZ, UN, FCDO, World Bank).
- Demonstrated experience integrating Health and Nutrition programming into large-scale donor-funded projects.
- Strong experience in proposal writing and leading consortium bids.
- Knowledge of donor regulations (ECHO, USAID/BHA, BMZ, EU, UN, GAVI).
- Solid understanding of health systems, community health, and resilience programming.
- Excellent written and spoken English and French.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and grants management systems (iMPAQ, Horizon).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
Major Responsibilities
1. Grants Acquisition and Proposal Development (50%)- Support the design, coordination, and submission of competitive project proposals to key donors (ECHO, EU, USAID/BHA, BMZ, UN agencies, World Bank, etc.). - Ensure that new proposals integrate Health, Nutrition, and WASH components in line with WV’s IPF1 strategy and donor priorities. - Provide medical or public health expertise to strengthen program design, particularly in health systems strengthening, community health, and disease prevention. - Support the development of concept notes, logical frameworks, and detailed budgets aligned with donor and World Vision requirements. - Coordinate multi-sector proposal design processes that link livelihoods, education, protection, and health for greater impact. - Maintain active collaboration with Support Offices (WVUS, WV Canada, WV Korea, WV Germany, WVUK, etc.) to identify new funding opportunities and co-financing options.
2. Grants Management and Compliance (30%)- Ensure that all WVN projects comply with donor, partnership, and World Vision International (WVI) policies and contractual obligations. - Revise grants agreements, amendments, and sub-agreements to ensure compliance with donor rules. - Contribute to the donor audits, reviews, and spot checks in collaboration with finance and operations teams. - Maintain up-to-date grant trackers, compliance matrices, and performance indicators for all ongoing grants. - Lead and coordinate grants management committee on monthly basis and feed grants health tracker
3. Reporting and Donor Relations (10%)- Oversee timely and high-quality submission of narrative and financial reports to donors and Support Offices. - Ensure that all grants are timely reported in line with donor expectations. - Contribute to the communications and meetings with donors regarding project performance and compliance.
4. Capacity Building and Internal Systems Strengthening (5%)- Provide training and mentoring to grants projects staff on grants management, compliance, and donor regulations. - Support development and roll-out of systems and tools that improve grants efficiency, quality, and accountability.
5. External Engagement and Partnerships (5%)- Represent WV Niger in donor and inter-agency coordination platforms on grants, compliance, and resource mobilization.
Strengthen partnerships with local NGOs, research institutions, and health sector networks to advance WV’s health fundraising agenda
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education:
- Master’s degree in Economics, development studies, Business Administration, Public Health, Medicine, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in grants and compliance management within international NGOs.
- Proven track record in managing multi-donor portfolios (USAID, EU, ECHO, GAVI, BMZ, UN, FCDO, World Bank).
