Job Description

- Review all financial documents and ensure that all vouchers have all supporting documentation (approval notes, goods received notes, contracts, invoices, receipts, stamped etc.), are properly reviewed and approved by concerned personnel before release payments. - Orient and supervise finance assistants to Keep an orderly file, record all financial transactions on daily bases and maintain it on proper way. - Review the weekly spreadsheet done by the finance Assistant to ensure correctness and following IRC standards and share the final draft with Finance Manager for positing at the last day of month, ensure JV is signed by authorized personal. - Review accrual list done by Finance Assistant to ensure correctness, following IRC standards and share the final draft with Finance Manager for posting. - Prepare salary allocation report on monthly basis and share with Finance Manager within deadline. - Work with Petty Cash Custodians to review Raqqa SC petty cash documents, spread sheet and prepare a draft of the petty cash reconciliation for Finance manager Review on monthly basis. - Represent finance in tender opening process as per IRC policy. - Prepare insurance for regular staff &incentive workers on monthly basis and share it with Finance Manager within deadline. - Prepare cash projection on monthly basis, share with Finance Manager on time. - Conduct inventory check for warehouses from time to time and per request. - Reconcile accrual account on monthly basis, follow up on pending balances to be reconciled and share a report with Finance Manager on monthly basis. - Insure the implementation of all Finance policies and procedures in office and during program implementation of activities in the community - Ensure compliance with IRC policies and procedures, doing best internal control in finance section and other sections and having close coordination between Program, Finance and Supply chain - Work closely with the Finance team to insure smooth operation of all finance matters. - be transparent and inform FM immediately whenever any discrepancies observed in cash (less, extra) of actual balance - Support/coordinate the Finance Assistant duties while on absence or vacation. - To deputize the Finance Manager in day-to-day work during his/her absence. As and when required.
