Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial functions.
You have:
- Advanced degrees preferred (MBA, MPA, or similar) or a Bachelor's degree with a recognized professional accounting qualification and relevant experience will be considered.
- Recognized professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CPA required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience leading accounting or finance teams, ideally within international NGOs or donor-funded organizations.
- Demonstrable expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, grant management, and donor financial reporting.
- Strong experience with audits (external, internal, and donor) and financial compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to translate financial information for diverse audiences.
- High proficiency in accounting systems and financial tools.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
- Working knowledge of ERP accounting systems; experience with QuickBooks required.
- Knowledge of Unit4/Agresso is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and collaboratively across multicultural teams and time zones.
- High professional integrity, discretion, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence senior managers and peers.
