Overview
Lead CHAI’s AI strategy globally to enhance health delivery.
You have:
- Bachelors in CS, data science, public health, economics, or public policy. Masters in public health/public policy is beneficial but not necessary to apply.
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in strategy development, program leadership, or global health innovation, with a proven track record in AI or digital health environments.
- Deep understanding of AI's potential and challenges within global health contexts, including applications in diagnostics, predictive analytics, patient engagement, and AI governance.
- Demonstrated experience owning AI/ML product lifecycle from conception to deployment, including business case development, technology vendor selection, procurement management, and leading cross-functional implementation teams.
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts and strategic trade-offs to varied audiences, with preference for experience in resource-constrained or LMIC settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in engaging governments, donors, and multilateral stakeholders to implement complex, multi-stakeholder AI-driven initiatives successfully.
- Exceptional strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to 20%.
- Experience implementing AI solutions specifically within public health systems or health informatics in LMIC settings.
- Experience in fundraising, proposal development, and securing significant grants or funding.
- Familiarity with Digital Public Goods, responsible AI frameworks, and ethical considerations in healthcare technology deployment.
- Knowledge of regulatory environments, data governance, health data privacy, and AI policy development relevant to LMICs.
