You have:

  • Minimum 8-10 years in corporate partnerships, business development, or fundraising.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional qualification in Business, International Development, Finance/Accounting or similar.
  • Proven track record of securing high-value partnerships (USD 1M).
  • Strong regional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage with and manage donor client formal reporting and ad-hoc requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to build networks and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
  • Experience working in INGOs, development sector, or ESG/corporate sustainability preferred.
  • Professional fluency in English.

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Senior Corporate Partnership Manager leads the development, management, and growth of high-value corporate partnerships to deliver sustainable income and strategic impact for children. The role is accountable for achieving ambitious revenue targets, strengthening donor retention, and ensuring high-quality pipeline and proposal development aligned with Save the Children’s strategic priorities.

This role operates at an “Accomplished to Leading Edge” level across business development competencies—including funding strategy, relationship management, pipeline development, and proposal leadership—as outlined in the global framework

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

1. Revenue Generation & Portfolio Growth

  • Lead corporate fundraising efforts to achieve annual revenue target (USD 2.5M in 2026)
  • Develop and execute a corporate partnership strategy aligned with CSP and global funding priorities
  • Build and manage a robust opportunity pipeline, ensuring strong positioning and win probability
  • Drive proposal development from capture planning to submission, ensuring high-quality, competitive bids
  • Ensure 90% of proposals demonstrate positive results in project calculators (financial viability & impact)
  • Identify and secure multi-year, strategic partnerships with corporates (e.g., FMCG, finance, tech, extractives)

2. Donor Relationship Management & Retention

  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with corporate donors
  • Ensure minimum 45% donor retention rate through strong stewardship and value creation
  • Lead engagement plans including:
    • Executive-level relationship management
    • Partnership reviews and reporting
  • Position Save the Children as a preferred partner for ESG, sustainability, and shared value initiatives

3. Pipeline & Opportunity Management

  • Ensure 100% of opportunities are recorded and updated in Opportunity Tracker and Award Management System
  • Apply go/no-go decision-making processes and win strategy development
  • Lead capture planning, including:
    • Competitor and donor intelligence
    • Consortium building (where relevant)
    • Internal resource mobilization
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and after-action reviews to improve performance

4. Proposal Development & Quality Assurance

  • Lead or oversee end-to-end proposal development processes
  • Ensure proposals are:
    • Technically strong
    • Financially compliant and competitive
    • Aligned with donor priorities and SC breakthroughs
  • Facilitate collaboration across technical, finance, and operations teams
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals

5. Strategic Positioning & Partnerships

  • Identify and position SC Indonesia in priority corporate sectors (e.g., agriculture, climate, digital, child protection)
  • Build partnerships with:
    • Private sector entities
    • Industry platforms and networks
    • Strategic implementing partners
  • Contribute to thought leadership and external representation

6. Compliance & Organizational Contribution

  • Ensure adherence to SCI and SCI Indonesia policies, validated through audits
  • Maintain high-quality data management in CRM systems
  • Contribute to team capacity building and knowledge sharing
  • Support internal alignment between program, operations, and partnerships teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional qualification in Business, International Development, Finance/Accounting or similar

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 8–10 years in corporate partnerships, business development, or fundraising
  • Strong regional stakeholder management skills with proven ability to engage with and manage donor client formal reporting and ad-hoc requests
  • Demonstrated ability to build networks and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Experience working in INGOs, development sector, or ESG/corporate sustainability preferred
  • An ability to see both the big (strategic) picture, identifying opportunities for innovation and value addition, as well as keeping alert to project delivery risks;
