You will be in charge of

Objective of the Assignment

To lead the development and strengthening of climate policy and regulatory frameworks aligned with GCF requirements and international climate finance mechanisms.

Scope of Work

  • Lead policy and regulatory gap analysis related to climate and GCF engagement
  • Guide development of regulatory and policy documents
  • Ensure alignment with GCF, GEF, MDBs
  • Provide technical oversight across deliverables
  • Support integration of outputs into institutional systems
  • Contribute to stakeholder consultations and validation

Key Deliverables

  • Inputs to gap analysis report
  • Contribution to at least 7 regulatory/policy documents
  • Strategic guidance notes
  • Inputs to final report

Reporting Line

Reports to Team Leader / Project Manager and coordinates with the consulting team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • 6–8 years of experience in climate policy and regulatory development
  • Experience with GCF (mandatory requirement), GEF, MDBs
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Fluency in English

Conditions

  • Salary, depending on the level of education, security level, etc as well as a monthly living allowance of $300
  • Accommodation and food provided in Acted guesthouse

  • Flight tickets every 6 months & visa fees covered
  • Contribution to the luggage transportation: up to 100 kgs, depending on the length of the contract

  • This position is classified as an international staff position under Acted’s recruitment framework. Eligibility for an international contract is therefore required.
