Overview

Develop and maintain ETL, reports, dashboards, and data models.

You have:

• University degree from accredited educational institution in computer sciences or information technology or other related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business intelligence, database and software development.
• Expert knowledge of relational databases in MS SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of reporting tools like PowerBI, SQL Server reporting services, Crystal reports, Tableau or other BI tools.
• Good knowledge of SSIS, SSAS.
• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
• Knowledge in Microsoft fabric is desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Result of Service

The UNRWA Digital Impact, Technology and Innovation Department is advancing the Enterprise Business Intelligence system to provide more capacity in building financial dashboards and reporting. The financial reports are crucial for the organization to make strategic decisions based on statistics, facts and insights derived from these reports. The agency requires a large set of data, processing and regular dashboards to be produced, enhanced, managed and delivered on a timely basis. Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: • Understand and document requirements with agreed prototype, report design, data source, ETL, data structure, and data model.. • Design and implement data structures, data model • Create necessary data loading packages in SSIS • Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards • Connect Power BI to datasources (Sharepoint, MS SQL DB, etc) • Develops tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards. • Perform data analysis (e.g. data migration, data quality) • Conduct bug fixes and quality assurance. • Prepare technical documents and user manuals. • Provide support by investigating and resolving issues, including issues to ensure prompt, effective service • Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Qualification Requirements The Consultant will be responsible for developing and maintaining various ETL, reports dashboards and data models. CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The consultant will be based in UNRWA HQ Amman - Jordan. • The duration of the consultancy is 11 months with the possibility of extension subject to availability of funds and continuing need and satisfactory performance. • Consultancy level is equivalent to grade 14 step 1 Jordan salary scale
