Overview

Provide technical assistance in managing security planning and risk assessment.

You have:

  • A university degree in Security Risk Management, International Relations, or a relevant technical field.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a dedicated unit within an international organization.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
  • Demonstrated security management experience and understanding of the United Nations Security Management System is highly desirable.

Contract

You will be deployed in the Country Office (CO) reporting to the Security Manager/OIC.

How can you make a difference?

To provide professional technical, operational, and administrative assistance to the supervisor in managing a range of activities on security planning, management, and risk assessment to ensure the safety and security of personnel and their eligible family members and safeguarding UNICEF premises, assets and resources at the duty stations.

Education:

  • A university degree in one of the following fields is required: Security Risk Management, International Relations, Administration, Conflict Analysis, Intelligence Analysis, Diplomatic Studies, Conflict and Security, Counter Terrorism or another relevant technical field.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a dedicated unit within an international organization is required.
  • Demonstrated security management experience and understanding of the United Nations Security Management System is highly desirable.

Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
