Contract

1. Role and responsibilities

Generic responsibilities:

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  • Ensure proper filing of documents pertaining to security
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement of the security function
  • Implement NRC’s safety and security policies at field level.
  • Ensure all guards adhere to NRC security procedures.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Ensure that minimum operating security standards and procedures are implemented in the Sub-office
  • Managing of the Guard in Hawija Sub-office.
  • Provide regular security related update to NRC Kirkuk Security department, including field staff and drivers;
  • Support the Security and access Coordinator to conduct regular security and risk assessments to identify safety and security needs;
  • Support Security and access coordinator to provide regular briefings and updates as necessary;
  • Travel to the field with programme team, gather security information and provide updated security related information to the field staff when needed.
  • Proactively contact members of this information network to collect information on security relate matters in order to provide security and access coordinator with day-to-day security issues and updates.
  • Immediately report all breaches of safety and security procedures and all threats to NRC staff, beneficiaries, activities or assets;
  • Maintain a close vigilance on the local political and military situation in the districts and provide updates to Security unit on regular basis.
  • Secure that NRC vehicles are equipped with necessary documents and equipment (Vehicle Safety and Security Documents)
  • Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the security and access coordinator.

    Specific responsibilities – logistics & fleet

  • Follow up with driver and confirm daily check of all vehicles.

  • Verify check in- check out for all drivers on daily basis (Checking attendance sheet).
  • Checking logbook on weekly basis and share it with fleet focal point on weekly basis.
  • Communicating any fleet related issues in Hawija with fleet focal point.
  • Arranging movement plan on daily basis in coordination with fleet focal point whenever it needed.
  • Submitting Attendance Sheet and Daily Vehicle check at the end of each month.
  • Coordinate with Fleet focal point for arranging meeting with the drivers whenever it needed.
  • Daily check of the fuel tank of the generators.
  • Submit generator engine sheet to logistics focal point at the end of each week.

Specific responsibilities – Administration

  • Collecting staff attendance record and submitting it to HR department in Kirkuk
  • Raising purchase requestion for office supplies and consumables in coordination with HR/Admin Officer
  • Collecting utility bills (electricity, cleaning service and etc.)
  • Reporting any other administrative issues in the office to HR/Admin Officer.

3. Other information:

Contract Duration: 12 months

Salary: G4/S1, According to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
