Overview
Provide consultancy for sustainable development projects and policies.
You have:
- Master's degree in social policy, public policy, politics, economics, development studies or a related area.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in programme/project management.
- Knowledge of sustainable development concepts, principles and issues.
- Capacity to work in a multicultural work environment and engage with a diverse set of partners.
- Extensive experience in research, quantitative data, and strategic level analysis.
- Proven experience in SDG, gender mainstreaming and social inclusion in UN programmes and projects.
- Technical writing experience in national and international reports.
- Strong networking and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages.
- Analysis of the national voluntary reports of international and Arab countries.
- Hands-on project experience with civil society, local communities and/or vulnerable groups is an asset.
- Help and advice to ministries and institutions related to implementing the sustainable development agenda.
- Proficiency in English.
- Arabic is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience
Academic Qualification:
- Master's degree in social policy, public policy, politics, economics, development studies or a related area.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in programme/project management, Knowledge of sustainable development concepts, principles and issues and the ability to apply to strategic and/or practical situations, covering the economic, social and environmental dimensions.
- Capacity to work in a multicultural work environment and engage with a diverse set of partners including Government, development, and communities.
- Extensive experience in research, quantitative data, and strategic level analysis.
- Proven experience in SDG, gender mainstreaming and social inclusion in UN programmes and project is required.
- Technical writing experience in national and international report s
- Strong networking and teamwork skills.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages,
- Analysis of the national voluntary reports of international and Arab countries and the possibility of comparison with them
- Hands-on project experience with civil society, local communities and/or vulnerable groups is an asset.
- Help and advice to ministries and institutions related to implementing the sustainable development agenda, with a mechanism for linking with their strategies
Languages
- Proficiency in English.
- Arabic is a plus
