Screening and Evaluation of Candidates for Emergency Response Deployments

In order to support the rapid recruitment process of over 250 staff to be deployed all over Greece we are looking for Online Volunteers to support us by participating in pre-screening to eliminate candidates who do not meet basic requirements of the position. Afterwards the Online Volunteers will use preliminary assessments to screen out those who lack the desired level of skills and competencies for the job. The Online Volunteers will communicate with the Human Resources team in Greece via email, MS Teams and Whatsapp.

Emergency response, immediate relief operations, and post-conflict humanitarian aid operations
IOM Greece is mobilizing to provide immediate support to the authorities and people affected by the tragic fire that broke out overnight (09-09) at the Moria Reception and Identification Center (RIC) on the Greek island of Lesvos, particularly the unaccompanied children. Together with partners, IOM has committed to transporting 400 unaccompanied children from Lesvos to suitable accommodations on the mainland and escort them during the transfer. In relation to the above, the office is in need of surge capacities to handle to support with the recruitment process of over 250 staff to be deployed all over Greece.
Volunteers: 20 needed
20+ hours per week / 12 weeks
Candidates should have at least two years of work experience in a similar role. The candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision and deliver results in a timely manner. Proficiency in MS Office.
