BACKGROUND & JOB PURPOSE
The ongoing Say to 5S Project aims to improve health and nutrition of school aged children in Timor-Leste between December 2021 and 2025. This project was commenced through the formal signing of the agreements in Dec 2021, establishing a partnership between the Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste (GoTL), WFP, WHO and KOICA (the Korean Government).
The Say to 5S Project seeks to improve health and nutrition of school aged children in Timor-Leste between December 2021 and 2025 for the duration of 4 years.
In Outcome 1, WHO, together with the MoH and MoE, will target all Timorese children aged 6-14 years old (150,445 male and 146,179 female children). Outcome 1 will support the school-aged children to be benefited from Primary Health Package and health education in a safe and healthy school environment to mitigate risks of priority diseases at school.

Outcome 2 seeks to transform schools to be more safe and healthy environments with upgraded infrastructure and food safety and the provision of nutritious school meals.
