Purpose of the position:

The School Coaches/Facilitators will support school-based program management functions and program activities. He or she will support the creation, implementation and adoption of processes that enable the knowledge capture, real time collaboration, problem solving and organizational learning across program. The School Coaches/Facilitators will work with the Teaching staff at all level both in the Cluster Area Programme offices and at field level. Positions requires flexibility and willingness to assume varied duties and project with an emphasis on project activities.

Provides technical support for deployed infrastructure ensuring educational activities are ongoing and not interrupted. First point of contact for support and works with vendor and partner to ensure all software and hardware are in working order. 20%

Collaborates with project officer to identify training needs and conducts required trainings on the use of the platform for all designated users. 20%

Provides periodic reports to Project Manager on hardware and software status.15%

Ensures that all needed replacements, installations and upgrades are done on time and liaises with Profuturo on all technical issues. 20%

Maintains IT inventory management for all IT equipment and/or software in accordance with project policies.10%

Ensures devices are safely charged for optimal use and monitors power system to ensure operational effectiveness. 15%

Qualifications: Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:

Educational level required:

  • An IT related Certification or Diploma, N+ or A* in Computer Networking and Administration. An IT Customer Support Role would be an advantage.

*Technical Training qualifications required*****:

  • Professional technical skill desired in at least Education, Experience 3 years in program/project Management and Implementation.

Other*****: *Working experience in community development is preferred.

Working Environment / Conditions:

  • Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field
  • Travel: 10% Domestic/international travel is required.
  • On call: 10%
