- University degree in Agri-business Management, Community Development, Economics, Business Management, or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in VSLA programming.

- Advanced computers skills (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Save for Transformation (S4T) Officer
The Role:
The S4T Officer will provide support in the implementation of Savings for Transformation (S4T) methodology through capacity building of project participants, establishing linkages with financial service providers, and supporting transition of S4T groups into business enterprises for increased resilience and graduation from extreme poverty.
Under the guidance of the S4T Specialist, the jobholder will fully engage in and responsible for the day-to-day planning, implementing, and managing of financial access related activities. S/he will organize vulnerable IPD and host community households to establish S4T groups and ensure their proper and effective functioning and operation as per World Vision’s Savings for Transformation standards.
S/he, in addition, will realize the financial inclusion of vulnerable groups that create access to financial services through regular technical guidance and supervision;
Key Responsibilities:
Activity Planning, Implementation and Reporting;
- Prepare a detailed S4T implementation plan and ensure respective team members understand well and properly implement the methodology.
- Regularly review the progress and maintain regular update of the workplan and track outputs.
- Raise awareness on the role of WV S4T contribution to Poverty Graduation Approach programs
- Facilitate establishment and functionality of S4T groups among the target communities and participants
- Lead and provide technical guidance on financial inclusion interventions and livelihoods diversification of the project.
- Identify technical capacity and challenges of Savings for Transformation facilitator skills /knowledge on S4T, Business Management for further capacity building and support.
- Plan for the relevant capacity trainings of S4T Facilitators, coaches and participants.
- Regularly monitor, guide and provide technical support to the S4T groups when conducting share purchase and social contributions.
- Provide technical guidance and support S4T groups and members on borrowing and repayment of loans,
- Facilitate financial service providers, stakeholders and traders’ engagements as part of establishing strategic linkages for S4T.
- Ensure all S4T records on savings, borrowing and repayments are accurately captured by the groups
- Assist in uploading and updating the S4T online reporting platform
- Document lessons learned and capture stories of change on S4T.
- Consolidate/compile monthly, quarterly, and annual activity reports and special events showing achievements, lessons, constraints, and recommendations and submit to supervisor on agreed time.
Capacity Building/ Technical Support;
- Review and adapt basic business, financial and relevant technical training material.
- Conduct S4T trainings for the field Facilitators and monitor step down training.
- Train graduation coaches on Principles of S4T
- Facilitate peer-to-peer support and ensure social cohesion within S4T.
- Harmonize training materials and give technical support on S4T to consortium staff
- Integrate with other WV key sectors like Health, Nutrition, Wash, etc. to offer short training sessions/life skills to S4T groups as needed
- Assist in the monitoring of S4T groups, giving guidance where it is needed
- Document and recommend S4T adaptations in line with the context
Coordination and Representation;
- Participate in WV Community of Practice on Financial Inclusion activities.
- Represent WV in coordination meetings, cluster meetings, community meetings as assigned by the supervisor;

Working Environment:
The position is field-based in Baidoa with frequent travel to field operation areas required.
