Contract
This is a Professional contract, Grade 7 (NRC) contract. More about Professional contract, Grade 7 (NRC) contracts.
SIP is the term that NRC uses to describe protection mainstreaming in humanitarian aid, and is strongly linked to/encompasses also gender, age, diversity mainstreaming and disability inclusion.
SIP is a foundational element to NRC's Ways of Working: it is about how we work, and what we do to make sure it is safe for others to participate in our programming. It ensures that our programmes respect certain standards, so they are safe, participatory, accountable and dignified for the communities and people we work with and for.
The position encompasses field support, including through regular field visits, and training delivery relevant to SIP. The responsibilities also include close coordination with relevant parties on protection-related matters and representing NRC in various meetings discussing similar materials.
