You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Sociology, Political Science, or a related field. (A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in social services, community development, or project coordination, preferably within the public sector or non-profit environment.
- Experience with project management tools and techniques, including tracking software, budget management, and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of social services systems and reform processes is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
“RISE – Armenia: rehabilitation, inclusion and social empowerment of the displaced and vulnerable population in Armenia” Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager with overall grant project coordination, including overseeing partners’ performance. The project coordinator will play a key role in supporting and coordinating the efforts of a high-impact project aimed at transforming and improving social services within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization, and execution of various project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and deliverables. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of social services systems and reform processes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the social services reform project, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor and track progress against project objectives and key deliverables.
- Support in preparing and maintaining project documentation, reports, and records.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, service providers, and beneficiaries.
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and public consultations to gather feedback and input for the reform efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with project partners and key stakeholders to promote collaboration.
Data Collection & Analysis:
- Assist with the collection of data related to the social services system, including service usage, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with data analysts to assess findings and provide recommendations for project adjustments.
- Prepare regular reports on progress, performance metrics, and outcomes.
Logistics & Administration:
- Handle logistical aspects of project implementation, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and organizing events or workshops.
- Assist in managing project budgets, processing invoices, and ensuring financial compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, documents, and correspondence.
Advocacy & Public Relations:
- Support the creation and dissemination of project communications, including social media posts, and other public-facing materials.
Help promote the project’s objectives and raise awareness about social services reform within the community.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
Proactively identify potential challenges and collaborate with team members to resolve issues that arise during project implementation.
- Suggest improvements to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
