- Previous experience in editing and proofreading texts in Portuguese from Brazil.
- Availability to work 6-10 hours per week for 4 weeks.

UNV Brazil is looking for a motivated and skilled editor online volunteer to proofread a text in Portuguese. The text is 58 pages long (circa 25654 words), and the revised text should follow the new grammatical agreement for the Portuguese language (Brazilian orthography). Due credit will be given to the online volunteer in the final document.

UN Volunteers have to complete a series of mandatory courses during onboarding and first weeks of service. The mandatory courses are currently available in English, which can be a hindrance, especially for UN Community Volunteers. With the contribution of the online volunteers, newly recruited UN Volunteers in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries will have access to the content of mandatory United Nations Volunteers (UNV) e-Courses in Portuguese.

The online volunteer should have previous experience in editing and proofreading texts in Portuguese from Brazil. Interested candidates should submit a CV.
