The Foundation wishes to utilise the skills and expertise of an Online Volunteer who is able to edit and review a 30 page paper for publication on a reputable high impact Journal. The Online Volunteer in collaboration with the contact person for the Foundation only do grammar, syntax edit and structure of the rainfall data analysis paper to ensure it is appropriate for the selected Journal.

    The Foundation has carried out various community development related projects in the past and have also aimed to publish papers which can benefit the people of the country and abroad with the sole purpose to benefit mankind. In order to produce a paper that will be made available for public consumption, the Foundation has utilise existing rainfall data accumulated since 1972 to 2007. The task will take at least one week and the Foundation is looking for an Online Volunteer who is committed and can handle the task before certification.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 11-20 hours per week / 1 weeks

    Candidates must have experience in data analyses especially plotting graphs, getting rainfall moving averages and interpreting the data in a logical manner. The volunteer must have knowledge in Mann–Kendall analysis and Sen’s Slope Estimator Test, Spectral and Regression Analysis and other rainfall data analysis technique. He or she must have a PHD in hydrology or environmental engineering or any appropriate field.
