You have:

• Academic or professional background in visual arts, graphic design, art education, youth development, communications, crime prevention and criminal justice, social sciences, education, psychology, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make objective and balanced assessments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, fairness, and ethical standards.
• Previous experience and engagement and strong understanding of UN and UNODC mandates is desirable.
• Experience in evaluating creative work, participating in competitions, exhibitions, or artistic review processes is desirable.
• Interest in youth engagement, crime prevention, community-oriented development, criminal justice issues or the work of the United Nations is highly desirable.

UNODC is seeking motivated Online Volunteers to support the review and selection of artwork submitted by young people from around the world for the Global Youth Crime Prevention Art Campaign under the “GameChangers” Initiative. The Online Volunteers will serve as members of a volunteer review panel, working independently assessing submissions according to established evaluation criteria and providing fair, objective, and constructive recommendations. Their contributions will help ensure a transparent and inclusive selection process that reflects the diversity, creativity, and perspectives of youth globally. UNODC will provide a short online orientation session, evaluation guidelines, scoring criteria, confidentiality requirements, and ongoing support throughout the assignment. All selected Online Volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory virtual orientation session before commencing the assignment.

The Online Volunteer will be asked to:

• Review assigned artwork submissions (max 50) submitted by youth from different countries and regions • Translate short texts between 500 to 2000 words that are part of the submission from French, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, or Arabic into English as needed. • Assess each submission against agreed evaluation criteria, including relevance to the campaign theme, originality, creativity, artistic quality, clarity of message, overall impact, as well as meeting the UN principles i.e. non-discrimination, equality and respect for diversity. • Complete standardized evaluation score sheets for each artwork within the agreed timeframe. • Provide brief written comments to support scoring where appropriate. • Participate in virtual coordination meetings with the UNODC project team if required. • Declare any potential conflict of interest related to submitted artworks. Practice impartiality, and professionalism throughout the review process.

Each Online Volunteer is expected to review approximately 50 artwork submissions (depending on the total number of entries received) and submit completed evaluation forms by the agreed deadline. All submitted artwork and evaluation materials remain the intellectual property of UNODC and will be treated as confidential.
