The assignment is inline with MDF's desire to maintain accuracy of it's financial statements to ensure accountability and transparency in it's activities to attract the attention of development partners. This is to ensure that MDF could continue to deliver its activities as part of the community development efforts in PNG.

This online assignment requires the support of online volunteers in reviewing audit reports, financial statements and related data to ensure that they are accurate. Further, to also check the reasonableness of the relevant charts and graphs in relation to the financial data and correct any errors.

At the end of the assignment, the online volunteers will be awarded with a certificate from the UNV Online Volunteering service for the task carried out to help the foundation.

The task requires four online volunteers who have experience in auditing and carrying out financial review to cross check an audit report that is already carried out by an auditor; and make recommendation on how the Foundation could make improvement in terms of book keeping and preparing financial books for the auditors.

The online volunteers are also expected to perform financial review using the documents that will be made available by the contact person from the Foundation.

The online volunteers will be awarded with certificate after the completion of the task on hand. The online volunteers will require to review and edit 4 pages of report which are between 400 to 600 words.

The volunteers must have a Degree and Experience in Accounting, Economic and Financial Management. Students are encouraged to apply as well. PhD students are encouraged to apply.
