JOB TITLE: Resource Mobilization/ Corporate Engagement Officer

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 3: the role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the policy checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE SCOPE AND PURPOSE: The post holder will support the national office to grow the funding and partnerships at country level in order to resource the Country Strategic Plan. He/She will increase our profile and secure funding from corporate donors comprising of international and local and multi-national companies, institutions, organizations, and foundations to gain monetary and non-monetary support for the Kosovo National Office.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY : Resource Mobilization and Corporate Engagement: • Work closely with Awards Coordinator in collecting donor intelligence and maintain a donor mapping against Save the Children National Office in Kosovo (SCiK) focused sectors. • Develop and deploy corporate engagement strategies to meet the fundraising goals and targets of SCiK. • Contribute to NO strategic portfolio planning with inputs related to corporate resource mobilization. • Identify thematic priorities that align with donor interests and develop standardized concept notes for pitching to multiple corporate donors. • Maintain updated information on donor interests, history of giving, key contacts etc. • In coordination with the Awards Coordinator, undertake regular engagement with SCI member offices to identify potential corporate donors for SCiK. • Build trust and long-term relationships with institutional and corporate donors with co-operation from the country team. • Regularly visit, engage and pitch proposals to donors to secure corporate funding for SCiK • Contribute to the development of concept notes and funding proposals for a variety of donors, from major institutional donors, corporate organisations, trusts, and private donors, among others. • Support the Awards Coordinator to produce proposal development schedules and track timelines, ensuring and facilitating coordination amongst teams (i.e. PDQ/Technical Experts (TEs), Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Security). • Proactively account manage existing and new partnerships based in Kosovo, including donor communications, progress reports and working closely with the project team. • Maintain relevant trackers and planners to monitor Resource Mobilization performance and submit regular updates.

Donor Reporting and Communication • Be the lead of the reporting process flow, monitoring progress, ensuring inputs, and identifying and delivering capacity development support for budget holders and partners. • Responsible for final review, quality, and one voice editing of donor reports and communications. • Develop and maintain key contacts list, support to the Awards Coordinator and Executive Director in donor outreach and relationship building. • In collaboration with SC member offices and the Kosovo project teams, support donor communication for donors under member office account management. • Carry out process reviews to identify lessons learned. Document, share and develop plans to address identified challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • University degree in International Development, Business Management or related fields. • At least 5-years experience in fundraising, marketing, advertising or public relations. • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and facilitating the development of major proposals to institutional donors, multilateral agencies, corporate donors, and/or foundations. • Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues through critical thinking, analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in. • A high degree of attention to detail and the ability to lead key tasks (eg. proposal development) to on-time completion under significant pressure. • Highly developed networking skills and ability to form productive working relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and stakeholders (eg. programme, technical, awards, compliance, finance, program operations). • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including communicating with impact, influencing, negotiation, and coaching. • Familiarity with local context and funding landscape. • Excellent writing and presentation skills, fluency in English is required. • Good facilitation and cross-functional leadership skills. • Advanced computer proficiency.
