Support grants acquisition, partnerships development, and capacity building in a team setting.
You have:
- Support the National Director in the development of key partnerships with other NGOs and donors.
- Manage the development and roll out of a Grants Acquisition strategy in line with WVML National Office Strategy.
- Develop in collaboration with the National Office team grant forecasting plans and annual growth plan for HEA and development Portfolios.
- Provide support to the Programme’s team when needed in engaging with and developing individual donors relations.
- Ensure that Grants Acquisition systems are in place using adequate tracking tools to support effective grant compliance.
- Work with the finance team to develop budget, track budgets, and monitor grant compliance.
- Familiarize one’s self on WV’s grant processes and build Resource Development capacity of/transfer knowledge to technical and field staff.
- Ensure the provision of necessary financial information and analysis to the relevant Field and NO staff.

Strategic Engagement & Leadership
· Support the National Director in the development of key partnerships with other NGOs and donors
· Support the Regional Resource Development Director in the sharing of grant opportunities with the Regional Office, the Support Offices and partners
Resource diversification Strategy Development
- Manage the development and roll out of a Grants Acquisition strategy or plan in line with WVML National Office (NO) Strategy
- Develop in collaboration with the National Office team grant forecasting plans and annual growth plan for HEA and development Portfolios in line with the Country and HEA strategies
Internal and external liaison
- Develop in collaboration with the National Office team grant forecasting plans and annual growth plan for HEA and development Portfolios in line with the Country and HEA strategies
- Provide support to the Programme’s team when needed in engaging with and developing individual donors relations
· Coordinate with WAR Resource Development Director for grant lessons learned, improving WV’s grants standards, donor liaisons as well as during potential Cross Border and Multi-Country applications
Resource Acquisition
- Ensure that Grants Acquisition systems are in place using adequate tracking tools to support effective grant compliance and positive audit results, and that the grant team and NO staff understands this system and follows it accordingly
