Volunteer to develop grant proposals for English education
You have:
- Excellent written communication skills with proficient English.
- Comfort and familiarity with drafting project proposals, grant applications, cover letters, etc.
- Polished, concise, and persuasive writing skills, preferably with some background on grants and proposals.
- Preference will be given to those with grant writing experience.
- Demonstrated interest in helping children with education.

Online Volunteers will work with a team to develop tailored proposals for grant opportunities, including initial research into potential funding sources. The Online Volunteers writing those proposals will collaborate on specific grants when possible and complete 10 to 12 proposals. The grants will be mostly for schools where the Ann Foundation provides English classes. All collaboration will be conducted online via Skype or email, and this commitment is for 26 weeks. Reliability and communication are vital. Online Volunteers must be willing to respond to phone calls, emails, etc. within days.

Our objectives are to help better the quality of life and education for persons with disabilities, particularly by providing English classes. These funds will help us expand our work in empowering the children/youth that we serve. Many of the schools where we teach classes lack the basic technology needed for our classes, which are generally offered via Skype from volunteers all around the world. Funding for these projects is therefore extremely important. Our objective is to improve the infrastructure of our existing projects, and to have the means to take up additional projects as well. With those things accomplished, the Ann Foundation can teach English classes more effectively and to more people, and carry out its goals more fully.
Volunteers: 6 needed
1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
Excellent written communication skills with proficient English Comfort and familiarity with drafting project proposals, grant applications, cover letters, etc. Must have polished, concise, and persuasive writing skills, preferably with some background on grants and proposals. Samples of writing will be required before interviewing. Preference will be given to those with grant writing experience. We encourage applicants with a demonstrated interest in helping children with education.
