Trust Funds and pooled funds have been increasingly adopted as a best practice for the mobilization of flexible resources (after "core") for UN funds and programmes, as well as being an instrument of UN reform. The objective of this assignment is to collect and compare as well as share the best practices that are relevant to UN joint programming in West Africa Region as well as Trust Funds for Health (no specific region) and develop two consolidated document and power point presentations.

We are looking for an Online Volunteer who have experience in online research (English) and fundraising with strong analytical skills and excellent Power Point Presentation/drafting skills. The task will include but not limited to the following responsibilities: - Discuss and determine parameters for the research of primary resources shared - Conduct research using the MPTF Gateway and others (this may include scheduling and participating in phone calls) - Summarize key findings in a short Power Point Presentation and a concise document.

The average estimated workload is expected to include roughly reviewing guidance materials (online), as well as webpages over the course of the assignment duration.

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with Partnerships Managers in UNICEF Headquarters in New York and the West Africa Regional Office (WCARO) and possibly some other UN agencies who are spearheading this work and learn about the ways in which best practices can support the work of SDG 17.

Candidates should have strong research and analytical skills, as well as excellent design (self publishing) and Microsoft PPT skills. Background knowledge and working experience in fund raising, finance, programme management, or governance are desirable. A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
