As a volunteer for this research piece, you will work closely with the Youth Engagement team at the UNDP Global Centre in Singapore to support our first National study on Youth Social Entrepreneurship in Singapore. You will assist us in mapping the ecosystem in Singapore, and conducting research on various players in the different categories of ecosystem players such as government agencies, impact investors, capacity builders, network providers and support service providers that are supporting youth social entrepreneurs in Singapore. Specific tasks will include: 1) Scanning publications, news articles, websites and even social media sites such as Linkedin/Facebook and 2) Creating research written reports to be delivered on a weekly basis.

    The Youth Co:Lab’s in Singapore is working on conducting meaningful qualitative research in order to fully understand the youth social entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country. As any research approach, this study will address, and help to create an action agenda that federates the major actors of these fields to create meaningful research products that appeal to a broad set of audiences, in particular the private sector, and youth themselves.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 6-10 hours per week / 10 weeks

    Strong research, analytical and written communication skills; Some knowledge/experience working with the different players in the youth social entrepreneurship landscape in Singapore; Data analysis and visualisation abilities are a plus; Can reliably meet deadlines; Excellent command of English language; Experience in research and writing articles; Extremely attentive to detail.
