Overview

Conduct research and analyse social protection programs and databases.

You have:

  • Fluency in French.
  • Interest in databases, including experience in quantitative data analysis, data management or relational databases.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Academic or work experience in development, social policy or e-governance.
  • Master’s Degree in areas of Statistics, Data Science, International Relations, and similar is desirable.
  • Knowledge of M&E administrative tools (such as Management Information Systems (MIS)).
  • Basic knowledge of software development is desirable.

In collaboration with IPC-IG’s researchers and other volunteers, the candidate will : (i) gather and analyse quantitative and qualitative information about specific social protection programs and beneficiary registries in Burundi and other countries to provide examples of good practices; (ii) evaluate social protection Management Information Systems and databases to help to decide the way forward for Burundi; (iii) support the development of project reports by writing up to 10-15 pages of the report; (iv) participate in up to 10 stakeholder meetings and take meeting notes in French.

  • 20+ hours per week / 14 weeks

    Fluency in French. Interest in databases, including experience in quantitative data analysis, data management or relational databases. Advanced Excel.
