We are looking for volunteers to support the exploration of the best digital tools/instruments used globally by business associations (BA) and Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI). The volunteers are expected to individually research from open sources (websites, social media, case studies etc) about digital systems/instruments/tools currently used by these organizations in their home country for membership administration, automatization of communication with micro-, small- and medium businesses (e.g. CRM), membership fee collection, service provision and training (e.g. LMS), collecting instant feedback from members on needs etc; and draft a succinct report on findings with reference to the source of data (format to be provided). We will provide all needed support including a zoom induction meeting for orientation about the task and expectations, and a format for the report. Communication will be done through email and Zoom.

    This assignment is within a framework of the project "Strengthening MSME Business Membership Organizations in Ukraine (Phase II)". A key focus of the Project is to enhance growth and competitiveness and strengthen the voice of MSMEs in Ukraine through more professional, demand-driven and client-oriented Business Membership Organizations (BMOs). The Project aims to expand BMO coverage throughout Ukraine and is expected to positively impact on their ability to attract members, promote constructive cooperation with governmental structures and to contribute to policy development leading to MSMEs sector growth. International best experience/practices collected through this search could be valuable for the development/adaptation of innovative technical solutions for the digitalization of BMOs in Ukraine.

  • 1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks

    The volunteer should be fluent in English. Good knowledge of digital tools for collaboration, communication, relationships management (CRM, LMS, intranet etc.) is an asset. The volunteer is expected to research information about his/her home country: please mention the practices of which country you plan to research in the application. Self-motivated, responsible, able to work with minimum supervision. Experience in data collection, consolidation and reporting is required.
