Job Requirements:

Education and Qualification:

- Bachelor’s (Masters preferred) degree in Education, Psychology, Public Policy, Development Studies and Sociology. - A background in education research, including training in both quantitative and qualitative research methods - At least two years of experience doing research on education in emergencies - At least two years of experience supporting the implementation of mixed-methods research studies focused on education, psychosocial support, or other areas related to Learning through Play.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

- Strong (creative/interactive) training skills. - Strong supervision, coaching and communication skills. - Strong planning skills - Able to quickly and with attention to detail identify needs / gaps and work towards solutions. - Cultural sensitivity. - Results-oriented. - Willing and able to travel regularly.

Working Environment:

- Standard office work environment - Position is based in Kasulu Field office in Kigoma, Tanzania.
