UNDP Youth Co:Lab is looking for Online Volunteers to research the grant and funding opportunities that are available in the market for early-stage social enterprises in Asia and the Pacific region. The research will be done in English. The Online Volunteers will also be responsible for managing and updating the existing funding opportunity database. This will help us identify more funding sources to support young entrepreneurs and help their initiative generate bigger social impact.

Resource mobilization, partnership and donor coordination
Co-created in 2017 by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Citi Foundation, the Youth Co:Lab programme (www.youthcolab.org) aims to establish a common agenda for Asia-Pacific countries to invest in and empower youth to accelerate implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through leadership, social innovation and entrepreneurship. By developing 21st century skills, and catalysing and sustaining youth-led startups and social enterprises across the region, Youth Co:Lab is positioning young people front and center in order to solve the region’s most pressing challenges. We delicately support young entrepreneurs in the region through Youth Co:Lab Springboard programme, which is a pre-incubation platform for young SDG innovators, aiming to capture and extend the lifespan of ideas sparked during Innovation Challenges and to provide young social entrepreneurs with relevant resources and tools to increase their impact, employment capability and revenue.
Volunteers: 2 needed
1-5 hours per week / 6 weeks
The candidate needs to be fluent in English and commit to producing the expected output in the volunteering duration. Experience in qualitative data analysis and ability to synthesize large quantities of information into easy to understand findings are preferential. Familiarity and expertise with impact investment and social entrepreneurship in emerging markets are considered an asset. Experience with funding landscape research is an asset.
