Overview

You have:

  • Fluency in English is required.

IPC-IG is looking for online volunteers to provide support the production of knowledge products. More specifically: (i) support the elaboration of the products demanded by the UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia, related to Social Protection responses to the COVID-19 crisis; (ii) support an analysis of Sri Lanka’s fiscal space looking forward to implement universal child grants; (iii) support a quantitative ex ante analysis for redesigning Sri Lanka’s social protection programmes; (iv) support other research related activities such as: a) data collection; b) bibliography search; c) literature review; d) quantitative analysis; e) qualitative analysis; f) report writting; g) organizing references. The volunteer may also work on other research activities as requested. Selected online volunteers are to work under the supervision and coordination of IPC-IG Research Team.

    The IPC-IG is a joint project of the United Nations Development Programme and the Brazilian Government to facilitate South-South Cooperation on key development issues. The IPC-IG’s mandate is to promote the production and dissemination of studies and policy recommendations, the exchange of best practices in development initiatives and the expansion of South-South cooperation. Objective: to support research activities and the analysis of South Asian countries' social protection system. Online Volunteers will receive a certificate of appreciation for their contributions and can be acknowledged in the final publication of documents. Online Volunteers will work remotely at a time and location of their convenience, subject to the deadlines set.

  • 20+ hours per week / 8 weeks
