State of Volunteering in Central Asia Review was launched on 12 July 2024. This first regional report of its kind published by United Nations Volunteers showcases the evolution of volunteering practices and the impact of volunteer efforts, emphasizes the value of volunteers' contributions, and identifies best practices in Central Asia’s volunteer movement. The report focuses on the region’s five countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
Online Volunteers will research sustainable development-related events in five Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The selected volunteers will assist in mapping and compiling a comprehensive list of relevant events.
Research Events:
-Identify and gather information on meetings, events, forums, and conferences related to sustainable development in Central Asian countries through social media, websites, and other relevant online platforms.
-Collect contact information available on the internet for the events identified.
-Organize the information into a structured list or database for easy reference and access.
Research background is required. UN experience is an asset.
