How can you make a difference?

Under the close supervision of a ICT Officer, the incumbent contributes to all/any ICT tasks and related activities as below:

• Assisting with troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
• Assisting with cloning and Software installations and configurations.
• Setting up computer workstations.
• Setting up teleconference & video conference meetings.
• Ad hoc end-user support via email, Skype, Ticketing system, phone or in-person.
• Ensuring requests are properly opened, resolved in a timely manner, documented and closed in the ticketing system.
• Other similar duties as assigned by Supervisor.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information technology or any related field.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Have solid and practical application knowledge and fluency in helpdesk and network support,
• Cultural sensitivity.
• Team player, supportive to colleagues

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for an internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. degree programme or have graduated within the past two years. - Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Be proficient in at least one of UNICEF's working languages: English, French or Spanish. Fluency in the working language of the office you are applying to is required.
• Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
• Have no immediate relatives (e.g. father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and
• Have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.

Individuals must demonstrate excellent academic performance through recent university or institution records.
