This position is located in the Planning, Monitoring and Reporting section of the Iraq Country Office. This section is responsible for the overall management of the country programme budget, planning of programmes through work plans, managing the process of monitoring throughout the country, resource mobilization and reporting on results to donors and other stakeholders.

Under the overall guidance of the Chief of PMR, and direct supervision of the Resource Mobilization Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the organization’s reporting functions, support for resource mobilization/fundraising and quality assurance of various performance mechanisms, including annual reporting, donor reporting, indicators tracking, SitReps, and quality assurance through work planning.

Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

- Participate, contribute and support processes related to resource mobilization, reporting on ongoing planning and reporting for the country office, including the Country Office Annual Report and other key corporate reports, and inter-agency reports. - Develop and update the reporting framework and the databases on key performance indicators. Assist the office in developing, implementation and aggregation of reporting. - Contribute to the development of thematic and sector reports as required. - Assist in the development of an internal system to aggregate and report on office performance through various government and donor frameworks. Improve the harmonization of the reporting system to deal with numerous organizational demands and standards. - Assist in mid-year and end-year reviews, through quality control of performance based on indicators in zone offices. Support the coordination of the process of developing and reviewing RWPs/AWPs. - Promote the ongoing improvement of application of RBM practices and principles in the office through planning monitoring and reporting, sharing of lessons learned and good practices.

Recruitment Qualifications - Advanced university degree in social sciences and/or relevant field is required. - Five years of relevant work experience, preferably at the national and international levels. - Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
