Report editing on End Year Summary Narrative in English

The volunteer will, to the best of their ability, competently and correctly proofread and edit the English version of the document. The document is used to showcase the annual results of the country office and identify challenges, partnerships, and lessons learned. The text may contain some professional vocabulary on human rights. Most of the document uses ordinary understandable words. The document contains from up to 30 pages/2000 in A4 Format.

The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the UNICEF Albania team and learn about how the translated product contributes to relevant implementing strategies used by UNICEF to address the key bottlenecks in the realization of child rights in Albania.

We are seeking 1 Online Volunteer to support us by editing the 2 End Year Summary Narrative Reports (one extended, the other summarized) in English. To this end the Online Volunteer is asked:

• To proofread the document, which is approximately 30 pages format A4/ 2000 words-long in English
• To make necessary edits,

The selected Online Volunteer will receive guidance on the target audience and our communications guidelines as well as other guidance as needed.

Editing of the 1st Deliverable (End of year Report – UNICEF) should be completed by the 4th week of January, and the deliverable (End of year Report – Summary for Public) should be completed by 2nd week of February.

Candidates should be native in English. Familiarity with technical terms related to human rights will be considered an advantage. Previous report editing experience is considered an asset.
