Overview

Assist with registration documentation and queries

You have:

  • Post-secondary 2-year diploma in Business and office practice or other related discipline.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Competencies - Following Instructions and Procedures, Applying Technical Expertise, Planning and Organizing, Coping with Pressure and Setbacks, Adapting and Responding to Change.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receives, checks and verifies the authenticity of relevant documentation of registration applications submitted by registered persons to ensure accuracy of documents before further processing; 2. Responds to queries raised by registered persons, governmental authorities and other agencies to issues pertaining to UNRWA’s registration in coordination with the supervisor; 4. Reviews and approves registration applications pertaining to registration of newborn babies and deletion of deceased persons from registration records; 5. Initiates all registration applications concerning registered persons such as births, deaths, transfers, and splitting to ensure a relevant and up-to-date registration system; 6. Ensures electronic copies of all required proof documents are uploaded to the registration system; 7. Assists the supervisor and the Senior Refugee Registration Information System Officer in maintaining a computerized registration database by entering, amending and retrieving information to ensure effective registration processes and functions; Prints and distributes the new registration cards to registered persons/families and collects the old ones (if instructed); 8. Acts for the supervisor during his/her absence; 9. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor(s).

Qualifications/special skills
