NRC Ukraine is looking for an analytical thinker with good interpersonal skills and an ability to navigate through insecure environments to join the team as a Grants Manager. If you have past experience navigating through humanitarian crises, and would like to use your expertise and skills to aid the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, this is the role for you! Previous experience in NRC will be highly valuable.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Maintaining donor relationships; and having an overview of all grants, donor requirements, and rules and regulations.
  • Partnerships: Developing partnership and localization strategies; strengthening the collaboration with other actors; and facilitating partnership tools, systems, and capacity building.
  • Project Cycle Management (PCM): Implementing PCM systems across departments.
  • Risk Management: Leading due diligence processes relating to grant agreements and partnerships; providing technical support, training, and capacity building on donor compliance issues; and supporting external donor audits.
  • Coordination & Representation: Engaging in networking, information gathering, and context analysis; and engaging in grants and partnerships initiatives.
  • Line Management: Line managing the Grants Team, and ensuring quality and accurate information management systems.

What You Will Bring

  • Project management (donor relations and grant management) experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • Donor rules and regulations understanding.
  • Project cycle management, and report & proposal writing experience.
  • Data and financial analysis proficiency.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.

  • 24 months contract duration.
  • 20% travel, approximately.
