You have:
- Advanced degree (master's or equivalent) with specialization in Social Sciences, Social Work, psychology, Gender, Law or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of protection, GBV, PSEA, and child protection program design and implementation.
- Proven experience with UNICEF and/or other UN agencies, or Governments, or INGOs in capacity building, coaching and mentoring in terms of GBV and child protection.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written), preference will be to Arabic speakers.
- Adhere to UNICEF's values of Care, Respect, Integrity, Trust, and Accountability (CRITA).

MoSA Strategic Plan for Child Protection and Gender-based violence sets out a pivotal, proactive and regulatory role for the Minsitry in terms of the protection of women and children in Lebanon; it highlights main priorities needed to invest in strengthening the institutional capacity of the Ministry to fulfill its mandate, prioritizing the implementation of prevention services, while enhancing the provision of needed integrated package of quality CP/GBV services, aligned with the international best standards and practices.

This assignment is to be completed over a period of 73 days and the consultancy is expected to start in mid-September and end by April 2021. During the contractual period and within the stipulated timeframe the Consultant is expected to perform the outlined tasks and deliver results as reflected in the TERMS OF REFERENCE

UNICEF is looking for an experienced consultant with strong GBV, protection and child protection background to support in building the capacities of SDC staff on provision of GBV prevention services.
Academic Background:
- Advanced degree (master’s or equivalent) with specialization in Social Sciences, Social Work, psychology, Gender, Law or related field. Years of relevant experience and skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the field of protection, GBV, PSEA and child protection program design and implementation, delivering results with diverse teams, monitoring and evaluations tasks.
- Proven experience with UNICEF and/ or other UN agencies, or Governments, or INGOs in capacity building, coaching and mentoring in terms of GBV and child protection.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written), preference will be to Arabic speakers
