    How can you make a difference?

UNICEF Thailand Country Office (TCO) is seeking national professional photographers for assignment of taking photographs of UNICEF-related work in Thailand for communication, fundraising, and programmatic purposes.

Work Assignment:

In support of the Communication section planned activities, the consultant(s) will undertake the following work assignments:

1. Take photos and provide edits (colour correction, etc.) in digital files, along with photo captions.

2. Provide a set of selected photos, and all of the photos taken, as per brief.

3. Work with Senior Communication Associate on other photography-related work.

Work Schedule: The consultant(s) will work for approximately no more than 10 days per month. Payment will be made at the end of the month based on the number of actual working days.

End Products: Satisfactory completion of work for each assignment which is ready to use as Communication material.

Duration of Contract: 1 October 2022 - 15 September 2023 (with possibility of extension)

Official Travel: Travel expenses will be covered by UNICEF based on photographer’s estimated expenses, but no more than DSA rate.

Work Location: The consultant(s) will work at UNICEF-supported project sites and their own work stations.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

- Fluency in Thai language is required

- Expertise in photography with at least 8 years of experience especially in documentary area

- Able to provide good storytelling through photo essays

- Flexible to travel to other provinces

- Creative and easy to work, sensitive to children and children’s issues

- Base in Thailand during the time of the assignment (UNICEF does not provide airfare/travel expenses for applicant to start the work in Thailand if he/she is based overseas)

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
