Under the supervision of the chief of communication and private partnerships, the consultant is expected to implement RCCE external communications activities and support the coordination of the RCCE External Communication task-force.

How can you make a difference?

you are expected to undertake the duties below:

- Attend RCCE related meetings and produce minutes

- Coordinate with UNICEF team, RCCE partners and UNICEF suppliers the implementation of RCCE external communication activities.

- Implementation of RCCE external communication activities.

- Ensure campaigns monitoring and reporting

- Produce concept notes, briefings and reporting notes, among other coordination and reporting assets.

- Communication task force plan follow-up, This results in additional agreed task related to the implementation of communication activities. Ensure the implementation.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • *bachelor's degree in Communication or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 of relevant professional experience in coordination and implementation of communication or other related projects.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
