UNVMC mandate has been renewed through resolution points 3.2 and 3.4 of the Final Peace Agreement. Further to a request from the Government of Colombia, on its behalf and on behalf of the former FARC-EP, the Security Council, by its resolution 2574 (2021) adopted unanimously on 11 May 2021, mandated the Verification Mission to implement an additional task, as envisioned in the Final Peace Agreement, namely the verification of compliance with the sentences of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace.

Within the delegated authority of the Chief Supply Chain & Service Delivery and under the supervision of the Chief Performance Management Unit, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:

• Implement the QA internal audit plan, and monitor and evaluate the workflows, procedures, and performance of all MSD units in accordance with SOPs. • Performs periodic client survey assessments and coordinates, follow up for implementation of action plans within delegated authority, to address the survey feedback and periodic updates. • Report to the Chief Performance Management Unit on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality audits, corrective actions), including the need for improvement. • Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection and keeping up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality. • Act as a performance catalyst between the QMS regulatory body and the UNVMC for monitoring the UNVMC compliance with the corrective measures taken for reporting on vendor quality systems. • Shall contribute to developing business rules, guidelines, standard operating procedures, and other guidance materials based on UN regulations. • Prepare and assist in formulating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality Assurance and a suitable monitoring framework for mission support activities in line with the strategy and mandate of UNVMC.
• Collect key performance indicators (KPIs) data from all Supply Chain, Service Delivery and Operations and Resource Management stakeholders. • Prepare Performance Management reports regularly to provide visibility on operational issues and alert supervisors on time. • Highlight deviations in performance from targeted standards and follow up on corrective action. • Participate in cross-functional work teams to assist with projects and share best practice methodologies. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Quality Management Systems, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain Data Analysis. Experience in Quality Management Systems ISO 9001-2015 is mandatory.

Experience in Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Prince 2 Project Management, SCOR P, Power BI, MS-Excel, MS-Office Applications and other IT applications and office technology equipment.

The city of Bogotá DC, according to the recent SRA prepared by UNDSS, meets a "low" level of risk to live and work. Presents some favourable conditions and secure lives for all officials. The city presents the problems of security associated with the growth of the entire capital city and the representation permanent risk for national or foreign officials. To its entry, all UN Volunteers receive a security briefing from the host agency security, which provides information on the security environment of the Duty Station and security measures to take into account.

Although Colombia presents different levels of security, each one of them is found in order to carry out the mission, as well as supported through SRA where mitigation measures are exposed that may be required and those established by the MORSS. The contract lasts for the period above, with the possibility of extensions subject to the availability of financing, operational need and satisfactory performance. However, the Assignment renewal is not planned.

This assignment requires full availability and exclusivity with the System of United Nations. As this is a national UN Volunteer assignment, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for procuring their own housing and other essentials for subsistence. National UN Volunteers are part of the insurance plan against intentionally caused damage.
