OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

The Department of Operational Support and Services is comprised of several services, Infrastructure Support Services (ISS), Logistics Support Services (LSS), Security Services (SEC) and the Global Conference and Training Centre (GCT). The objective of the Department of Operational Support and Services is to ensure high quality, relevant consistent and responsive services in the area of management and administration to all programmes and staff in Headquarters; Regions and officesof WHO, in line with the scope of WHO 2020 Output 434 Safe and secure environment with efficient infrastructure maintenance, cost-effective support services and responsive supply chain including duty of care. To promote an efficient and collaborative customer-oriented working environment that achieves results. The Global Conference and Training Centre, under OSS also manages and supports the delivery of Conference and Training facilities and services for WHO.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Centre, and in collaboration with the Administrative Officer, the incumbent:

--> Ensures that consistent implementation of Professional compliance services is delivered to WHO stakeholders in a result driven, client service oriented and cost-effective manner.

--> Ensures that client feedback is considered to improve the Quality of service delivered.

--> Provide regular briefings to the team to keep them abreast of the new regulations and Rules on the WHO Policies and Procedures.

--> Supports the analysis on the findings statistical data, discrepancies identified and area of non-compliance.

--> Submit recommendations to the Head of GCT for remedial actions and Improvement for a smooth running of activities.

--> Deliver and support outreach and capacity building activities to address root causes of non-compliance identified.Perform all other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Completion of a secondary or commercial school or equivalent Desirable: First university degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Human Resources or related field

Experience

Essential: A minimum of eight years' experience working in the area of administration, Travel Industry, logistics services for a programme. Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning Oracle systems (GSM) or similar packages. Desirable: Experience working in an international Organization

Skills

Concrete skills in managing administrative processes• Sound skills in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Oracle systems or similar packages.• Strong computer skills in office applications including excel, PowerPoint, and word.

REMUNERATION

WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at TND 29,892 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
