Conceptualize, design, plan, formulate and manage the Office's webpage and social media presence: 2. 1. Produces material for the Office's webpage and social media platforms, including multimedia assets (i.e., static and animated graphics, short videos), to publicize UNESCO's storytelling projects, campaigns, strategic priorities, events, and other activities. 3. 2. Provides the Office's webpage and social media content for critical fundraising moments throughout the year. 4. 3. Develops, manages, defines the tone and generates content for the Office's webpage and social media presence such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and possibly others, and edit drafts prepared by Programme officers. Exercises journalistic and political judgment, in liaison with relevant units and branches within UNESCO's Islamabad office, to make timely editorial decisions on what should go on UNESCO Office's webpage and social media platforms in English, and French if possible. 2. 2. Plans and initiates strategic and proactive outreach activities through social media campaigns. 3. 3. Actively identifies and maintains relations and partnerships with key stakeholders, such as digital/social media platforms, creators, and influencers, that contribute to the development and implementation of UNESCO's initiatives in the field of social media. 4. 4. Increases UNESCO's presence on social media platforms and strengthens UNESCO's brand awareness among target audiences. Promotes in-house social media usage, event promotion and engagement. 5. 5. Evaluates results and impact of communications activities on social media platforms, reports on developments, trends and attitudes regarding UNESCO. Long Description ---------------- 2\. Generate and/or coordinate UNESCO social media content in English, and French if possible, and ensure consistent editorial delivery, and will: 1. 1. Exercises journalistic and political judgment, in liaison with relevant units and branches within UNESCO's Islamabad office, to make timely editorial decisions on what should go on UNESCO's social media platforms in English, and French if possible.3.Monitors and evaluates interactions and feedback through UNESCO's Islamabad office social media presence, respond on behalf of the Office when deem appropriate a) Assesses the impact of UNESCO's Islamabad office social media presence and outreach activities. Contributes to UNESCO's Islamabad office communications campaigns through social media initiatives and incorporating social media elements in UNESCO's Islamabad office's communications activities. 5\. Represents UNESCO in the UN social media communicators' group and liaise with social media focal points in the UN system and beyond. 6\. Provides advice to managers and senior officers on the strategic use of social media to strengthen UNESCO's Islamabad office leadership and advocacy role.
