NRC is looking for a Protection Project Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Protection project portfolio in the North-West Area Office.

If you are an influential and strategic leader; with strong communications skills; and a track record in leading people, and managing budgets, then this is the role for you! **This position is open to Myanmarese / Burmese Nationals only**

What You Will Do

  • Protection strategy development.
  • Protection thematic area management in line with needs, budget, strategy and donor requirements
  • Protection project development, initiation, participation, and implementation (activities, budgets, and project documentation).
  • Technical direction and assurance of high quality of projects.
  • Project budget development and management.
  • Protection monitoring and evaluation, case management, and needs assessments.

What You Will Bring

  • Legal aid programme management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • P****rotection experience.
  • Protection fundamental concepts and guiding principles knowledge.
  • International standards understanding.
  • Project management experience.
  • North-West Myanmar context exposure and knowledge.

  • English fluency, both written and verbal.
