Overview

Design, develop and implement the Protection from Violence program.

You have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • Advanced degree in International Development, Social Work, Law, Human Rights, or a related field.
  • Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.
  • Technical CC experience in Protection from Violence programming.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Arabic, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management skills, including project design, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and partnership-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement MEAL frameworks.
  • Experience in proposal writing and resource mobilization.
  • Knowledge of the humanitarian context and relevant national policies and strategies.

What We are Looking For

NRC Iraq is looking for a Protection from Violence Programme Development Manager to join the mission. The role holder will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing the Protection programme in the country office.

What You Will Do

  • Develop CC strategy, technical SOPs / guidelines and Macro LFAs
  • Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, CC tools, handbooks and guidelines
  • Responsible of development and manage funding proposal, project budgets and donor reports
  • Overall management of project staff
  • Coordinate and manage CC project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements
  • Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills
  • Liaison and collaborate with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders and represent NRC in relevant forums/cluster/working groups.
  • Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy

What We Offer

  • Mosul, Iraq duty station.
  • 6 months (Renewable, depending on funding, performance and need for the position).
  • 50% travel, to field locations.
  • Senior Grade 9 in NRC’s Salary Scale. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
