Overview

Coordinate and oversee child protection and GBV programs in Uganda

You have:

Minimum 5 years of experience in child protection or GBV programs.
Proven experience in project management within humanitarian settings.
Experience in conducting capacity assessments and training programs.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.

The Child Protection/GBV Coordinator will be responsible to plan, manage, oversee and monitor the implementation of NRCs Child protection and GBV programs. She/ He will be accountable for the formulation, design, planning, implementing, and ensuring quality implementation of child protection and GBV programming. The Child Protection/GBV Coordinator will also support the protection team in implementing community-based programmes in Kampala. In addition, he/she will contribute to capacity building of partner field teams on CP and GBV topics identified during capacity assessments and in line with programme design.
